Company History
Professional Computer Consulting, Inc. (ProCCI) was founded in 1984 as a sole proprietorship by James Bucks and named Computer Consulting to program and distribute programs for the *new* Commodore 64 ?. The focus of the business was to utilize the problem solving skills learned in the Principal’s mainframe programming background into the newly emerging microcomputer industry.

This was the early, heady times of the industry, way before Personal Computers, the Internet, and Local Area Networks were even thought of. The founder, has been deeply involved in networking, database design, programming and user support for numerous projects.

In 1984, Jim Bucks recognized a marked inconsistency in the quality of available consulting services, and founded ProCCI, a company based upon the ideal principle of delivering high caliber consulting services on a dependable basis to meet growing technological needs. Since then, ProCCI has been a provider of information technology in environments where high-uptime and high reliability is critical to business operations.

ProCCI personnel are committed to providing 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, 365 day a year support for our clients. ProCCI personnel also provide “intrusive” support on an off-shift basis at no extra charge! This means that we work on your problems nights and weekends so your personnel will not encounter any down time during their normal work hours.

ProCCI personnel are accustomed to critically evaluating the needs (users, systems and management) with the existing infrastructure, developing a plan of action (with checkpoints and recovery elements), and then assisting in the implementation.
